Looking back upon my first year with Eupraxia, one memory in particular comes to mind. Running, jumping and sliding in the park with my 4 year old grandson. The freedom of being able to follow him and play seeing the joy in his eyes as his âGammyâ copies his every move!!
Then I flash back to the moment I decided to join Eupraxia. I woke up sick, tired and bloated. I didnât want to feel that way anymore or ever again. I couldnât sleep, had constant heartburn, even with medication, and uncontrolled asthma.
One year, 66 pounds and 18 inches off my waist later, I no longer require medication to sleep or for my heartburn, my asthma is practically non existent and I feel amazing!!
Steveâs lectures include a segment about finding a purpose, a reason to improve and focusing on it. If I could say one thing to a person just starting out, be patient, keep your eye on your purpose and fulfill it! You are the best project you will ever work on!!
The trainers at Eupraxia are so knowledgeable!! Use them, listen to them and you will find the results you are looking for! Change will come slow at first perhaps, but then like a stroll (or run) in the park, it will get easier!!

Hi! My name is Kaitlin. I grew up in Stevens Point, WI and then moved to La Crosse for college. I graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise Sport Science in 2021 from UWL and have stayed in the area since! After graduation, I got a job as an exercise specialist and shortly moved into managing the facility. I have since then obtained my personal training certification along with numerous learning opportunities in the business side of fitness.
Growing up, I had a very active lifestyle whether that was being outside with my sisters, participating in extra curriculars, or playing sports. Iâd like to think Iâve given almost every sport a tryâŠthere are a handful I still need to check off the list! The main sports I stuck to were softball, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. I still play recreational softball but would love to get back into tennis! I had the most supportive parents. They were at every event cheering my sisters and I on wherever we were. They taught us at a young age that you need to work hard to get the things you want, nothing will be handed to you. I live by that in all aspects of life and try to apply it, not only to myself, but whatever team I am on, work or fitness.
I love the community of a team and Eupraxia fits that description perfectly. Having people there to constantly cheer you on, encourage, push, and make you better is something I will always show up for. An environment where you can be yourself and comfortable in a gym no matter your skillset is my goal. I will go above and beyond to make you feel that you belongâŠ. because you do.
My fitness journey has been through its ups and downs. As I mentioned, I was a very active high schooler so when college rolled around with no planned fitness schedule, I fell off my routine. I gained weight and was unhappy with my unhealthy choices. I didnât make my passions a priority and I lost myself for a while. A few years later I decided to make a change. I started to become more active, go to the gym more, and eat, what I thought, was healthier. This is when I developed severe GI and digestive issues. I was forced to change my diet tremendously and followed what doctors were suggesting I do.
I lost over 50 pounds in an extremely unhealthy amount of time because I wasnât educated on how or what to eat. I was constantly tired, sick, and angry. After about a year of this, I was able to get some answers and start eating more. I continued to work out and live a healthy lifestyle and sure enough, I started gaining healthy weight back.
My hope is to educate you as well as I can with our time together, so that you wonât have to go through this process of frustration and confusion as I did. I want to show you how powerful your level of confidence in an active lifestyle and diet is. Everyone is on different walks of life, but all want the same end goal: To feel good in our own skin and to be able to set an example for whatever it is that means the most to you. Be confident in who you are and what you stand for because THAT is what will drive you to keep going.

Hi, my name is Jordan! I currently live just three blocks from the Holmen Eupraxia, so youâll often find me thereâwhether Iâm coaching or getting in my own workouts! When Iâm not at the gym, Iâm usually out exploring nature with my kids, soaking up the sunshine, and staying active as a family.
My journey with Eupraxia began during my undergraduate studies at UW-La Crosse, where I majored in Exercise and Sports Science. I was fortunate to be one of Eupraxiaâs very first interns, and that early experience had a huge impact on meâespecially when it came to nutrition. It sparked a curiosity that led me to pursue graduate studies in the field.
Initially, I set out to become a Registered Dietitian, thinking that was the only path forward. But partway through graduate schoolâjust one semester shy of completing the RD trackâI made the bold decision to change course. I finished my Masterâs degree but chose to step away from the conventional nutrition path. While my professors and peers thought I was crazy, I knew I couldnât teach a way of eating that didnât align with what I truly believed in.
Thanks to the foundational principles I learned through Eupraxia, Iâve developed a deep passion for health and wellnessâone that not only fuels my career but also supports the well-being of my family. Iâm so grateful to be part of a community that values real food, smart training, and sustainable health for life.

I grew up in the small town of Hillsboro, WI. I spent my youth biking myself all over town to the next ball game or up to the local swimming pool. I was one of the girls that would WWF wrestle or play tackle football with the guys back in elementary school. Sports were the motivation to get good grades and attend high school. As an athlete, I love to compete. Along with that came the team comradery which has given me so many wonderful memories.
I started my Eupraxia journey back in 2012. Before joining, I was into road biking, triathlons, and marathon running. With the arrival of my second bouncing baby boy, I need to re-evaluate how I spent my limited âmeâ time. I needed something that made me feel like I had pushed myself, got a wholeâbody workout and didnât consume hours in my dayâŠenter this crazy little word âEupraxiaâ.
I showed up to a class with people of all different ages and sizes. I was taught how to properly move weights and work all areas of my body. I was hooked. I love the challenge and variety of workouts. Seeing my progress still motivates me every day! And I have my âteamâ of the others in class.
Our members, our community, are the reason why I keep coming back. They motivate, encourage and we all grow together.
I am thankful to have so many people with the same goals and mindset. It is an incredible feeling to have the support of others â inside and outside the gym. I have made many great friendships along the way. I look forward to the new ones to come!
I encourage anyone who is interested to just check it out. Itâs a welcoming community, without judgement.
See you there!

Originally from Minnesota, my family and I hopped the border after traveling the country in our RV in 2020-2021. What a gift to live in such a beautiful area with TONS of outdoor things to do! My favorites are rock climbing and hiking the bluffs.
I grew up playing lots of sports and loved every minute of it. As a young adult, I got into running and completed a marathon (never again!). Looking back I can honestly say that I thought I knew what I was doing when it came to fitness and nutritionâŠbut I know now that I was inconsistent, restrictive, and way too hard on myself.
Everything changed when I became a mom.
There was a moment after I had my second baby, I was sitting in a chair feeling completely exhausted and eating a TON of peanut butter filled pretzels dipped in NutellaâŠI realized if I could find the time and energy to make healthy food for my kids, why the hell wasnât I doing it for myself?
I put down the treats, found a tiny, old trampoline, and just started jumping. I researched and learned as much as I could about fitness and nutrition - experimented with what I learned and found what worked best for me. In the process I became a certified health coach and work with others to help them reach their goals. My personal goal has been to role model and provide a healthy, vibrant lifestyle for my family.
I found the Eupraxia website about a year ago and peeked at it from time to time. What drew me in was the simplicity in how to move and fuel the body - a no BS approach that clearly got results. When I started the workouts I was training for the Hixon 25k. I was in pretty good shape, but WOWZA, I was sore after my first week of classes! As time went on I saw the most incredible shifts in my body and mindset. Iâve also met amazing people at the gym, who are authentic, encouraging, and fun. I look forward to every class I get to lead and every class I get to do!

Hey, Iâm Abigail! Iâve lived in Onalaska my whole life and truly love being part of this community. After earning my degree in Business Management from Western Technical College, I spent three years as an Assistant Manager at Walmart before making the leap into a sales-based roleâalways looking for new challenges. Growing up, I was deeply involved in competitive dance and soccer, so working out was never something I had to consciously think about; it was just woven into my everyday routine. Iâve also always loved spending time outsideâwhether thatâs going on long walks or exploring new hiking trailsâwhich keeps me connected to nature and grounded.
While my job at Walmart kept me physically active, moving freight and staying busy, I struggled mentally. I developed severe anxiety, and I was determined to work through it as naturally as possible. I had seen people in my family be on anxiety/depression medications for years and I did not want to go through the
side effects and withdrawals that I had seen them deal with. That sparked a whole new chapter for me: I started researching the best ways to fuel my body, shifting my diet to support my mental and physical health. I began approaching exercise with intention rather than relying solely on the physical demands of my job. Because of past injuriesâback pain and ankle issues from my dance daysâI started cautiously with low-impact workouts, afraid of pushing too hard and risking setbacks.
My fiancĂ© has been my biggest cheerleader through it all, patiently teaching me how to do exercises correctly and encouraging me to keep pushing my limits. It took time for these healthy habits to truly stick, but once they did, the positive impact on my anxiety was undeniable. I fell in love with learning more about fitness and nutrition, which led me to get certified as a personal trainer. Now, Iâm working towards certifications in Nutrition Coaching, Strength & Conditioning, and Corrective Exerciseâalways eager to grow and help others on their journeys.
Joining Eupraxia was a real game-changer. Its unique, dynamic workouts challenged me in ways I hadnât experienced before, and the contagious energy and determination of the community inspired me every single day. Seeing everyone push through their own challenges reminded me how powerful a supportive environment can be. Eupraxia has kept me motivated, made me stronger, and kept the excitement alive in my fitness journey.
As someone who typically avoids stepping out of my comfort zone, I canât recommend Eupraxia enoughâif youâre curious, just come check it out. You might surprise yourself!
